Rolling with the Vets
Thanks to our friends and veterans of the Combat Vets Association for partnering with Grace’s Home of Heroes as we hosted Rolling with the Vets. This event was hosted as a meaningful way to connect with veterans in such a fun and engaging way while also enjoying motorcycles, good food and heartfelt conversations. Events such as this highlight the importance of honoring and supporting our veterans.

Health and Benefits Fair: Breat Cancer Awareness

This event provides resources to the community that include but is not limited to mental health, housing and utility assistance, and food insecurities. Agencies and organizations are encouraged to sign up by emailing us at graceshomeofheroes@gmail.com.
Veteran Assistance
With the help of our friends from 5th Squad and The Combat Vets Association, we were able to build Veteran Samuel “Sam” Haislip a new ramp. Sam, a Navy Veteran that served in the Vietnam War Era, is disabled and was in need of a new disability ramp at his home.
Veterans Day Out
Veterans Day Out with our friends from the Collins State Veterans Home. Special thanks to our friends at The First Bank for sponsoring our veterans this year. In the words of one of the veterans, “he was immensely happy,” with this year’s outing.
Annual Veterans Holiday Brunch
Each year, Grace’s Home of Heroes celebrates our veterans, with the Annual Veterans Holiday Brunch. For December 2022, with the help of our community partner, Humana, we were able to give all guests a ham or turkey for the holidays.
